Description
Rare oversized Ardath 18k rosé gold chronograph with a Valjoux 22 movement inside. Valjoux 22 is originally designed for pocket watches,
and it was a predecessor to its more famous compatriot, the Valjoux 71 (and subsequently Valjoux 72), which added an hour counter in
addition to the 22’s twin sub-seconds and minute counters. Produced from 1914 through 1974; It’s a venerable movement with one of the longest
histories of service and driving some of the world’s most classic chronographs. The 18k rosé gold case has some overall wear and a few little dents.
Beautiful large sector dial is in great condition. The watch has solid case lugs and therefor needs a fit for an open end watch strap.
